To Mary & Dan,
On their Wedding day.
On their Engagement,
My first sibling to “tie the knot”.
What can I say about the Happy Couple?
Well they seem perfectly matched for each other.
Mary is beautiful, intelligent, caring.
Dan is hard-working, sociable, sporty and easy to
get along with.
They both have good steady jobs,
Financial security helps these days,
For the things we associate with married life:
A house together,
Holidaying together,
Socialising together,
Maybe even raising
children together.
And so with open arms,
And open hearts,
We welcome Daniel Oates into our Mulvey Family.
And likewise I’m sure,
Our Mary will be welcomed into Daniel Oates’ Family,
Not losing a Sister,
But gaining a Brother-In-Law!
So to my wonderful sister Mary,
And her chosen life-long companion:

That they may share together,
